Scaffolding Has Arrived

Drove past again this afternoon & was glad to see the scaffolding up. We are looking forward to seeing the rest of the bricks go up. 

There doesn't seem to be many bricks left, so hopefully more has been ordered. 

Bricks Continued

After a few days of rain it's finally a sunny day & we have more progress.

I phoned my ss today to enquire on the progress & to question if the electrician had been there to do the wiring for the brick piers. 

He said the scaffolding will be delivered tomorrow & the brickies will continue bricking the house to nearly the top, then they will install the fascia, gutters & roof & then the brickies will be back to finish off.

I was told that the electrician did not need to be called out to do our wiring in the piers while the bricks are going up because they can get to it from the roof. So I'll have to follow up tomorrow with the electrical company directly to see if I will be getting a credit for the call out fee.

The Bricks Have Started

We went past yesterday & were glad to see the bricks had been started. We have  2 courses done & are very happy already with our brick selection.

UPDATE 20/1/15
Went past again this afternoon & it looks like the plumbers have been in to do the internal plumbing. Also the brickies have been back. I'm hoping the rain will hold off until the bricks & roof are done.

Went past again today & surprised to see how much was done today. Not sure if they started on the back.

UPDATE 22/1/15

More progress with the bricks they have started on the other side & the back wall.

I'd say it won't be long before the scaffolding arrives.
