Kitchen Inspection

I met up with our supervisor this morning to inspect the house they are doing a fantastic job so far.

I found one issue with our tiles in the laundry we changed these & our powder room to Affinity Grey but our sales person put down Affinity Grey in the powder room & Affinity Ash in the Laundry. I was so upset I could have cried when I saw it.

So after I left the house I went to Tiles Direct & spoke with our sales person. She spoke to her manager & they will be ripping out the wrong tiles & replacing them with the tiles we wanted. Lesson learnt double check what has been put in writing before signing.

Our pantry

Stairs are looking good. I can't wait to see them stained.

  3. Hi Mel & Rob,

I found your blog through the homeone website. Your home is beautiful! I was thinking of building with Clarendon Wentworth but after reading your post and seeing your blog. Your home is stunning. I can't find Allworth Crescendo design on the AllWorth site? Was your build in Sydney? How much did it end up costing with all the upgrades? Much appreciated.
    Thanks

  5. Hi Bella,
Thanks we are very happy with it.
If you look on Allworths website under specials it's there. I've just checked & it's not there anymore. You may have to go into one of there display homes & ask about it. All up it cost us $373k including site & basic costs but not including flooring. We signed with Allworth in October 2013 & price locked for 1 year for $6000 which is included in that price. Our block was fairly flat with a fall of 350mm from memory. I'm not sure what the base price is now but when we price locked it was $246900 base price. I'd say you would be looking at least $385k with all our inclusions now. That's just a guesstimate.
